Atalay was born in Turkey / Karaman in 1973. After he graduated from primary and high school, he started undergraduate education in Selcuk University, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Division of Art Education. He completed his education in 1999. He started to work as a Visual Arts Teacher in the Ministry of Education in 1999. Atalay opened his personal studio where paintings, reliefs and sculptures were applied. He applied “mural, relief, sculpture”to public and private institutions in 1995.
He completed his graduate education, in Selcuk University, Institute of Social Sciences, Division of Art Education Program in 2008. Atalay completed Ph. D. in Gazi University, Institute of Education Sciences, Department of Fine Arts Education, Division of Art Education Program in 2013. He began working in Namık Kemal University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Department of Painting in 2013. He is still working in Namık Kemal University as a lecturer Assoc.Prof (Ph.D. )

My Art Perception

Shapes which meet-intersect with symbols and calligraphy take place as plastic in lyrical abstractions with “Inscriptions” series. There are plastic concerns in which a cultural interaction has been shown at the aesthetic language of “Inscriptions”. Lyrical-Abstract compositions narrate the aesthetics of the artist with poetic fictions. There is an attitude to create relations between lineal forms. The interaction between artistic jest lyrical abstract and symphonic plastic can be seen clearly. Main Concerns: Plastic pictorial lyricism and abstract expressions.
